MY ALL TIME MOST REPEAT PURCHASED MAKE-UP SET

"LORAC Real Life To Red Carpet PRO EYE TUTORIAL"

I have purchased this set over and over again, because I use it on myself, on my clients, and have gifted it to friends as well. Everyone loves it. There is not one dud in the box! Unlike many product sets, where at least one or two items seem like "filler", this set contains staples for anyone who wears make-up.  It sells for $39 and has a value of $110, of the combined products if purchased individually.
The eyeshadow trio is a shimmery pigmented dream to apply. The full sized double ended brush makes application easy. I don't often use eyeshadow primers, but if I did, this would be a go to. The liquid liner has compact packaging and a great brush, and lots of uses. The mascarra is great. They have even included a booklet with tutorials on three different looks to create, and suggestions for eye shape.  All solid advice. What else can I say? This is truly an all-round best value, favorite of mine!

Looks I love 2015 / Lashes

I have always been a huge fan of great lashes. They can intensify the eyes in subtle or dramatic ways. Aside from mascara, my preferred way to add a sparkle to any woman's look, is by applying individual false lashes.

Even a fresh look can be enhanced by great lashes!

Maria Canals-Barerra Editorial

Photographer Marc Cartwright Shot ABC Cristela's Actress Maria Canals- Barerra For Rain Magazine. He captured her vibrant smile beautifully! It's hard not to be smiling back when Maria is around. She is one of the funniest women I know, and she can do some crazy accurate impersonations!

Marc Cartwright also shot the pic of Maria on this cover. It's a crazy co-incidence that one of my other lovely clients Roma Downey also appears on this cover shot by Dana Feinman, and I did her hair and Make-Up as for the shot as well! I had no idea these images would appear together. What a happy surprise!

Ciara Bravo At 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Ciara has a very current sense of style and likes to keep her hair and make-up looks fresh to match. For this years Teen Choice Awards she wanted a bold look. As a presenter along with Cat Deeley and her fellow Red Band Society cast members, I think that was one of her best yet!

Beautiful braided Up Do- perfect choice for a Summer Event.

Ciara decided on a casual, yet classic up do with braids, and slightly smokey eyes that popped. She was interviewed and photographed on the (not red but) blue carpet, and the fans went nuts!

Ciara Bravo

FOX TV has a new show coming later this year called "REDBAND SOCIETY". It's a "dramedy" about teens/young adults in the terminal ward of a California Hospital. Although that may sound depressing, it's more like high school in a hospital, or as Ciara puts it "This isn't a show about death, It's a show about life."

I met Ciara for hair and make-up on a press tour for the show, but first she and fellow co-star Nolan Sotillo visited real sick teens in Hospitals in LA. They hung out talked, and cheered the kids up, while listening to their stories about what life is like living there. Apparently they get up to all sorts of things you'd never imagine!

Ciara attended the Summer TCAs, doing interviews and shoots for Access Hollywood, ET, Hollywood Reporter, TV Guide, etc. Then she spoke with the rest of the cast on a panel about the upcoming program.

This young actress has a fantastic attitude towards life, work and family. She is always polite, poised, and smiling. I did her hair and make-up for this as well as the after party at SOHO House.

For the day time, we kept her beautiful long hair down with soft waves. In the evening we decided on slightly smokey, but still soft eyes. I used MAC Cosmetics Powerpoint eyeliner in ENGRAVED, Christian Dior eyeshadows, MAKE UP FOREVER HD Blush, STILLA lipgloss and MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder.

Photographer Benjo Arwas does something I LOVE- takes polaroids to document his shoots. This was the way I learned the photo biz. Wish more people still did this!

"Faking It" with Gregg Sulkin

MTV has a hot, hip, ( and some may say controversial) new show called Faking it. I worked with my client, Gregg Sulkin, Co Star michael J. Willet, and the cast for some Interviews and press. Was very excited to see it when it aired, and now I'm hooked!

Jesse McArtney- SUPERBAD!

I always enjoy working with Jesse McArtney- he has great energy, personality, and I love his style.

Shooting his new Music Video "SUPERBAD" was no exception- there were a variety of hot looks the team brought to life for this fun story. Mandy O'Hanlon helped me to create fresh takes on 60's and 70's looks for model Hillary Carol Cruz. For Jesse we kept his hair neat and slick to match his sharp clothing.

You can check out the video as well as the BTS shoot on my video page or visit his web page www.jessemac.com

Roma Downey And Mark Burnett

I met this couple (partners in marriage as well as film making) working on Special Features Interviews for their TV Mini Series "THE BIBLE".  The show was such a success, that the pair decided to also produce the feature film "SON OF GOD" together, about the life of Jesus.

I was blown away at how powerful , and inspirational their work was, and also what lovely people they were. It has been a great honor to have continued to provide Hair & Make-up Services for red carpet events, and promoting their projects.

Bailee Madison

I met Bailee ABC Family's "Trophy Wife" actress) at the 2013 Catalina Film Festival, where she was being honored with an award. We didn't have much time to get her ready, but despite the time pressure, she stayed calm, and ended up looking like the vibrant beauty she is- all within 20 minutes. (see photo below)

In this post I am including some shots i collabarated on with photographers, and models to re create our own re visited versions of past ICONIC looks.
